March Beauty Product Roundup

Happy March! February was the month of LOVE and March always comes in like a lion here in Oklahoma. I’ve got some fun products to review as well as a few surprises. All of these products were gifted to me for review. Each of these has been tested by myself, my daughter and my mom. If you’re anything like us, you love to try new products. We hope that you enjoy our suggestions. I DO make an effort to read the product ingredients on the labels and only use products that meet my high standards. I promise when I review products here on my blog, I will let you know how they stack up on the toxin-free scale.

My March Beauty Product Roundup:

Clarins

Pantone‘s “provocative and thoughtful purple shade”, called Ultra-Violet, is THE color of 2018.

1 | Clarins SOS Primer in 05 Lavender – | Instantly neutralizes sallowness for visibly brighter skin. Use alone after your daily skincare routine or blend with your foundation for a perfect, even complexion. | Unfortunately, this product is loaded with ingredients found on the Whole Foods list of unacceptable ingredients. According to the Clarins website, SOS Primer is powered by organic Sea Lilly extract and contains an anti-pollution complex. As with any beauty product, it’s difficult to produce them without some of these ingredients. | $39 | www.clarinsusa.com

2 | Clarins 4-Colour Eyeshadow Palette in 07 Lovely Rose – | Comes in a new range of shades, from bright pink to aubergine, so go ahead and make your eyes pop from day to night. | This was a new experience for me. I’ve never worn pink eye-shadow, but it was fun to play with. It comes in a red velvet outer case and the compact case is shiny gold. Super elegant! It also contains a little card that shows you where to apply the color on your eyes. I always appreciate a few instructions. | This eyeshadow also contains unacceptable ingredients, but as I mentioned before, it’s a typical cosmetic. | $44 | www.clarinsusa.com

3 | Clarins Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector in 08 Plum – | Adds a vibrant shade of purple to your lips while leaving them supple and nourished. Moisturizes, plumps and illuminates lips leaving subtle, natural-looking color and shine. 4 hours* of non-stop hydration—for full, plump, beautifully contoured lips. Effective plant ingredients nourish, comfort and protect.| I’m always looking for a lip balm that contains color and this one doesn’t disappoint. The color is so pretty and lasts. | This product does contain unacceptable ingredients. | $26 | www.clarinsusa.com

Puckerd:

Puckerd Liquid to Matte Lipstick

4 | Puckerd Liquid to Matte Lipstick in Creme – | Create a larger than life smile; lavish your lips in this creamy liquid to matte lipstick! | Kaolin – this is a naturally occurring clay mineral, also called China Clay. It is known for its absorbent qualities and is what gives our Liquid to Matte Lipsticks that luxurious matte look and feel without drying out the lips. Infused with a new orange creamsicle and sugar cookie scent. | Vegan and Gluten Free.Paraben,  and sulfite free. I could not find a list of ingredients for this product on the website or packaging. …. | $19 | www.puckerd.com

ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND:

ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND’s Beauty Essentials can be incorporated with any skin care regimen and are effective with all skin types and ages. | These products are full of acceptable toxin-free ingredients! I was so excited to try them. I highly recommend these products. Knowing they contain quality non-toxic ingredients puts them at the top of my list. | www.borlind.com

5 | Eye Wrinkle Cream – | Carrot extract and sesame oil, nourishes the delicate area around eyes and lips, preventing moisture loss, reducing expression lines and wrinkles caused by dryness, soothing and enhancing elasticity. Free of mineral oil derivatives. Compatible with all skin types. | $32.99

6 | Orange Blossom Energizer – | Strong antioxidant serum of carrot and Sicilian blood orange oils infused with vitamins B5, C, and E, stimulates the production of collagen and protects against damage from free radicals. Shake well before use to combine the two-phase composition. Compatible with all skin types. | $37.99
